Iowa Fertilizer Company Donates $4,000 to Southeast Iowa Public Libraries

WEVER, Iowa (SEPTEMBER 26, 2016) – Iowa Fertilizer Company announced today the company donated $4,000 to local public libraries to support the purchase of new books and ongoing reading programs. The recipients of the donations include the Fort Madison, Mount Pleasant, Burlington, and Keokuk libraries.

“Iowa Fertilizer Company is proud to call Southeast Iowa home, and we remain committed to supporting and strengthening our communities,” Larry Holley, president of Iowa Fertilizer Company, said. “Our company has received tremendous support here in Iowa and we are excited about the opportunity to continue giving back to organizations that are making a difference for families here in the region.”

“We are thrilled to receive this generous donation from Iowa Fertilizer Company,” said Emily Rohlfs of the Keokuk Public Library. “These funds will not only provide new books to our library, but also they will help fund our upcoming winter reading program, which is an ever popular program in our community.”

As a member of the community, Iowa Fertilizer is proud to have supported a variety of local organizations, including Wever Fire and Rescue, Fort Madison Public Schools, Burlington Notre Dame Schools, United Way, Fort Madison Fourth of July Celebration, Fort Madison Community Hospital, Southeastern Iowa Community College, Donnellson Library, Fort Madison Sports Complex, Community Services Food Pantry, PAW Animal Shelter, and the Emma Cornelius Homeless Shelter.
